Entries from throughout SA, and one or two interstate, have been going under the eyes of judges ahead of the Royal Adelaide Show’s grains and fodder competition.
Grains and fodder committee chair Bill Rowett, Allendale East, said the overall entry numbers of 230 were good, albeit down slightly on last year, but hay entries had risen.
New this year was the addition of two national competitions, sponsored by Pasture Genetics and Nufarm.
