Namoi is very hard seeded and is used widely in pastoral grazing situations where it persists and regenerates well over many years. Namoi is resistant to Chocolate Spot (Botrytis ssp.), Rust (Uromyces ssp.) and Ascochyta Blight (Ascochyta ssp.).
