Languedoc Vetch

An early flowering and maturing variety, Languedoc is best suited for low rainfall environments due to its high susceptibility to rust, botrytis and ascochyta. A good grain producer in low rainfall environments, it has been replaced by the improved variety Timok, which matures later but produces better grain and drymatter yields even under low rainfall situations.

  • Early maturing variety suited to low rainfall environments where disease pressure is low
  • Purple flowers
  • Replaced by improved variety Timok
