February 18, 2020 By Rob Damin

I am pleased to announce that effective 21 February 2020, Pasture Genetics will officially become a part of S&W Seed Company Australia.

S&W is a leading force internationally in agricultural breeding, production and processing for the alfalfa, sunflower and sorghum species industries. S&W’s vision is to be the world’s preferred proprietary seed company which supplies a range of forage, grain and specialty crop products that supports the growing global demand for animal proteins and healthier consumer diets.

The skills and resources of our two businesses are an extremely good fit, and S&W’s acquisition of Pasture Genetics brings with it expanded product range and opportunities for you as a customer.

Pasture Genetics’ skills and resources align with the strength and reach of S&W’s operations in ways that will enable the organisation to rapidly service demands for new product offerings for customers both in Australia and overseas.

Our goal is to provide farmers with the best in new and productive seed solutions to suit the needs of every agricultural enterprise.

In preserving continuity, myself and the Pasture Genetics team will be moving into the S&W business. We all are looking forward to maintaining our strong relationships and offering our unwavering customer support to you.

The Damin family and the Pasture Genetics team, sincerely thank you for your prior and ongoing support of the business. We are all incredibly excited about the future and will share more about this exciting news in the coming days and weeks.

I wish you all the best for the 2020 season and welcome your thoughts and feedback at rob.damin@pasturegenetics.com

Please expect to hear from David Callachor, S&W Seed Company Australia’s Executive Vice-President International very soon, with more about this exciting development and the benefits it will bring to you as a key member of the Australian agricultural space.
